Jack Grealish heaps praise on Everton boss after Toffees blank Bournemouth

Everton have moved into the top half of the Premier League table after their 1-0 win against Bournemouth. David Moyes' side now sit in 9th, level on points with Manchester United and Liverpool, both of whom have yet to play in Matchweek 14.

Everton pulled out a late win thanks to Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish, who scored in the 78th minute of play.

Grealish has now scored two Premier League goals for the Toffees, while also adding four assists. The Englishman has started to resemble his old self, with Grealish citing his move to Everton and the manager as a significant factor in his revival.

What did Grealish say about Moyes and Everton?

Grealish has praised Moyes repeatedly since his loan move from Man City, with the attacker believing the manager has been able to bring out the best in him.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the win against Bournemouth, Grealish said, "I’ve scored two goals now here this season. One was a tackle, and then one was a deflection, but I got hammered for years for not scoring, so I'm taking both of the goals. It's good just to be contributing. It's a brilliant team.

"I love the manager to pieces. I've only known him a few months, and I can't speak highly enough of him as a person, and how he makes me feel, and how he makes me want to go there and play for him. So credit to him."

Grealish fell out of favor with City manager Pep Guardiola, following a downturn in form from the player, but his move to Everton has him loving the game again.

Grealish spoke on his move, saying, "I'm so lucky that all the teams that I've played for, even when I was on loan at Notts County, I had such a good connection with the fan base, and it was a brilliant club.

"Obviously, Aston Villa was unbelievable. I'm an Aston Villa fan. I go to City, I have such a good connection there, and now here I'm lucky that I've had such great clubs and great fan bases, and this is another one of them. They've been so good to me today.

"I think at the start of the second half, they wanted a bit more from me because I don't feel like I played that well. Pickers [Jordan Pickford] came up to me then and said, ‘That was your worst game, and you got the winner’.

"I feel like they were singing my name before the goal, so I feel like they wanted a bit more from me, and I gave it to them."
